By the Bridge

Hi there carrying on with my love of Art Impressions stamps, I have created a beautiful scene by the Bridge you can almost hear the water rushing by and imagine having a picnic on the riverbed by the bridge.
Here I have started out by stamping the bridge using 2 coloured pens on the stamps a sepia and a grey, I have been using Lyra and Distress Pens and a couple of colours of distress inks.
I have pulled the colour out of the stones and mixed greys, browns and a black onto my pallet to create light and dark shades on the bridge.
I have stamped foliage and flowers around the bridge in a way to look pleasing to the eye and I have dabbed and softened with my damp brush.
I have created detail under the bridge and have been mindful of a shadow that would appear directly under the bridge and around the underside of the bridge and made those areas darker then finished by adding a sky.
